For those of you in Los Angeles, come to the inaugural Synesthesia Symposium hosted by the International Association of Synaesthetes, Artists, and Scientists (IASAS) . I was invited to give the keynote speech and there will be a full synesthesia installation at UCLA's Art|Sci Center!
Come see me as part of an expert panel where I get to be the official brainophile. The topic? "The Neuroscience Behind Consumer Decision-Making in Advertising" - relevant to pretty much anyone who uses the internet, listens to the radio, watches television, talks to other humans, or is generally a member of society with a warm pulse. To say the least, it's bound to be a lively conversation!
The 12th National American Synesthesia Association Conference will be held at Harvard University where I'll be giving a talk on the question "Is Synesthesia a Gift, a Curse, or a Quirk?"

I'm humbled to be a panelist at the Hawai'i Book & Musical Festival's program on mindfulness and health alongside Haemin Sumin, a South Korean Buddhist monk.
Come to the launch event for Mirror Touch! The event will be on Friday, April 21st, at 7pm at the Harvard Coop Bookstore (3rd floor) located right across the street from the Harvard Square red line station. I'll be doing a reading followed by a book signing. Looking forward to seeing you there!
